Cut Your Own: Choose from over 40 acres of beautiful Christmas trees.  ​

• Colorado Blue Spruce- 8'-13'tall. Premium tree with strong, sturdy branches; blue-green in color; beautiful shape, color, and scent.  Best to cut closer to Christmas.  

• Canaan Fir: 10'-17' tall. Soft, short, dark green needles with firm branches; similar appearance to Fraser Fir; very fragrant. Excellent needle retention

• Serbian spruce : 9'-15' tall.  Shorter green needles with dense medium soft needles, sturdy branches, and small cones.  Good needle retention

• Norway Spruce : 12'-18' tall.  Sweeping branches, softer needle, deep green color.  Good needle retention.

You are welcome to drive around our farm to choose and cut your tree. There are several roads that bring you to the different lots.

 

What to Bring: It is best to be prepared.  We suggest bringing a blanket or mat to lay on when cutting your tree and to protect the roof of your car.  If you are purchasing a tall tree -- over 10'-- please bring the proper vehicle and straps to transport it.

Tree Care Information: Always make a fresh cut horizontally about one-half inch up the trunk just before putting the tree into the stand so the tree will be able to absorb the water. Use plain water free of additives and use a stand with at least a 2-gallon water capacity. Never let the tree run out of water. Do not place a tree too close to a direct heat source. Remember, real trees have a shelf-life. Enjoy!
